The Real Estate Regulatory Authority, which will oversee and advance the real estate industry, is what the RERA seeks to establish. The Act's primary goals are to safeguard homebuyers' interests and encourage prompt project or property delivery. RERA was also passed in order to increase investment in the industry. More transparency and accountability in the real estate industry would result from provisions like those requiring the consent of two-thirds of the allottees for any project modifications or additions, timely completion and delivery of projects to the buyers, the availability of information about the project plan, layout, government approvals, land title status, and subcontractors, and other similar provisions.
